Description: Canvas wind direction indicator with cut-brass pointer inset in chimney-breast panel. The painted panel is marbelized. The center dial is marked with thirty-four compass points. The corner spandrels have putti representing the four winds that are painted in a contemporary William and Mary style. The centerpiece unscrews for access to the works.The wind indicator was painted for the house by Abram Poole of Chicago in same style as CH.AA.2.
