Description:
The Old Manse Manuscripts document the lives of the families who inhabited the Old Manse from its construction in 1770 until the time that The Trustees of Reservations purchased the house in 1939. Included are correspondence, deeds, legal documents, sermons, lectures, articles, notes, receipts, account books, musical scores, photographs (including some of the house, from the 1880s to the 1930s), and botanical specimens. There is an additional spreadsheet that details many of the botanical specimens; many are also cataloged individually in the PastPerfect Objects catalog.
