Description: Weir River Farm is a 75-acre working farm in Hingham, Massachusetts. It is the former home of the American artist Polly Thayer Starr (1904-2006), a celebrated painter and pastel artist whose work often depicted the animals and landscapes of New England. Today visitors to Weir River Farm can enjoy many of the same scenes captured in Starr's art, as well as join the meat and vegetable CSAs, hike the trail loop through fields and surrounding woodlands, and participate in family-friendly barnyard activities and workshops.
