Description: Allan C. Haskell Public Gardens is a six-acre property in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The late Allen C. Haskell (1935-2004) was a lifelong New Bedford resident and award- winning horticulturalist. He assembled the property over more than 30 years, creating a truly unique and successful commercial nursery. The property includes a traditional New England style common, beautifully landscaped gardens, one of the oldest homes in New Bedford (the Hathaway House) and more than half an acre of greenhouse space. The property was acquired in 2013 by The Trustees.
