Title: About Chestnut Hill Farm

Description: Chestnut Hill Farm is a 131-acre property in Southborough, Massachusetts. One of the last working farms in the town of Southborough, Chestnut Hill Farm is a living tribute to the town's rich agricultural past. Home to a working dairy farm in the 1960s, the Beals family purchased the land in 1966 to protect it from development when they saw the property marked as a potential subdivision. In 2006, the townspeople of Southborough overwhelmingly voted to purchase a conservation restriction on the unprotected portions of Chestnut Hill Farm. It is thanks to this vision and to the generosity of the Beals family that The Trustees are able to take over the care and protection of this community treasure. Today Chestnut Hill Farm continues to operate as a working farm and a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is in operation there.
